Googly Bands
Two weeks ago, I was hired by Imperial Toy Machine to create a 30 second flash advert for their Googly Bands product. I was involved from concept, all the way to the delivery. I was sole animator, and I had 25 hours to put this all together. I had a lot fun creating it, and it was my first time working with Imperial. Towards the end of this product, music, and sfx were added, and it might end up on end caps at your local walmart. I went in creating a flash piece for their website, and I came out delivering just that, and a bit more since it might be used as a mini commercial. I'd call that a success. Anyhow, here's the link.

"Calorie Bike"
Project was really fun to work on, and I was in charge of all character design, background design, animation, and the whole enchilada, except for the programming, Dan had a hard time getting this one working properly.
It also gave me a constant attack of the MUNCHIES!
You can't tell from this picture, but there was a giant foot following him.
Some ATL, they originally tried casting T.I., but he wasn't available
I dont't know what's up with the low rez grape. Looks like he burned off quite the pixels
I'll upload a sketch of this background as soon as I find it. Translated quite nice I think...Character line up, Calorie counts are approximate, and Below, the different UI comps and layouts I designed. I think the last one at the bottom ended up being what they went with at the end. One of my favorite projects that I've worked on, quite happy with how it turned out.

"Turn Off the Lights" and "Toothbrush" games
Man keeping a blog sure is a hard thing to do, this is my 6th attempt. Anyways, I hope to have enough content for my lil bro Beto to follow. My only fan, besides my sisters. This one's for you lil bro! If you ever find yourself in South Carolina, check out these two museum exhibits I was contracted for. Here are some pictures for the games "Turn Off the Lights" and "Toothbrush" games for the South Caroline Children's Museum. I was contracted to do all animation, design, and character development for both games. I started working on these at the beginning of last year, and finished them in April. These pictures were sent by the client of the actual exhibits with real people playing them. I'll upload some of the work in progress ones I took on my phone, and exported directly from my comp, and took while these were being built in some dusty warehouse in the center of Pacoima, this is what the programmer had to say about that place..."
My god. that's clear up there near the place we built all the shit for Lexington, isn't it? Where the 5 and 18 meet, right? I hope you have a gun - several guns...assault weaponry.".....
Fun times, growling stomach, and late night Jack in the box, and McDo meals.....
Now some blurry photos taken my phone in the warehouse where these were built....
